Skip Burrough's vision is captured in the inner
essence and magnitude of her photography. A native New Yorker, Burroughs
has a B.S. in Health and Physical Education, a Masters in Anthropology
from NYU, and a second-degree black belt in Shotokan Karate. Retired
as Associate Professor from City University of NY, she pursues her
passion for photography. Solo exhibits have included "Images of
Life," "Women in Jazz," and "Portrait of a Mayor",
a compilation of photographs of former Mayor David N. Dinkins. Group
shows include The Gracie Square Art Show, Women Focus on Women, Portraiture,
Homes of the Homeless, Atlantic Gallery's Small Works Invitational
and Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit where she won first prize.
